Welcome to Home Helpers of the Treasure Coast

Home Helpers is Ranked The #1 Senior Care Franchise 5 years in a row by Entrepreneur magazine.

My name is Jean Larsen, owner of the local Home Helpers and Direct Link of the Treasure Coast.  After living in this area for 22 years, I noticed how many families could appreciate a helpful hand.  I opened this Home Helpers office in order to provide Seniors, New Moms and Working Parents, and those needing Recuperative and/or Continuing Care services in our community with the best assistance possible.  Our employees live in the areas we serve and love taking care of their neighbors.

All of our caregivers are carefully screened, fully background checked, and bonded for your peace of mind.  I hire only people that I would trust to take care of my own family members.  We work closely with clients and families to ensure we match caregivers to their specific needs and preferences

Home Helpers and Direct Link of the Treasure Coast provides care to:

  Seniors

Helping aging seniors safely manage and enjoy an active lifestyle while maintaining their independence.

  New Moms and Working Parents

An extra hand around the house for new parents after the baby's birth.  We also help working parents by staying home with sick or injured children or parents in an emergency, so those needing to work, won't miss any.

  Recuperative Care

Our clients recovering from illness or injury are able to resume their normal activities more quickly.

  Continued Care

Giving those facing lifelong challenges help with everyday tasks, making life easier and more enjoyable for them.

Our care plans are tailored just for you and your loved ones.  We provide: companionship, feeding, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, transportation to doctor's office, pick up prescriptions, errand services, and much more.

Meet Our Staff
Jean Larsen, Owner - Thursday, December 31, 2009

Jean Larsen, Owner

Living in this area for so many years, I am passionate about serving clients, but I'm also passionate about serving our community.  As an active member of the St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce, Martin County Chamber, Palm City Chamber, Florida Ethics Commission, on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club and the Economic Development Council, I truly enjoy working with people.  My community spirit led me to begin this new career.  My mission is simply to provide the very best care available and to improve the lives of each client we are privileged to service.

Owning Personnel Plus, Inc., a highly regarded staffing service, for 22 years  gave me great insight into matching clients with employees.  We will be applying the same rigorous standards in matching caregivers with clients.  Finding the right match is my main priority.

Home Helpers and Direct Link of the Treasure Coast serves the entire Treasure Coast, including Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Jensen Beach, Stuart and surrounding communities.

Stephanie Morgan - Monday, April 05, 2010

Stephanie Morgan, Community Relations Manager

Stephanie has joined forces with us to help develop our new business.  She has been a St. Lucie County resident since 1962 and has been very active in the community both professionally and through her volunteer work.

For the past three years, Stephanie has run her own business, All About You, which offers promotional items and gift baskets.  She will continue that business on the side.  She and Larsen also share a background in the staffing industry, having worked for Treasure Coast Staffing for 3 years.

Stephanie is a very active Board Member with the Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County.  Her energy, enthusiasm, dedication and hard work are very much appreciated by all.  She has also been active in the St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce and serves as a member of St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning.

For fun, Stephanie rides her own Harley motorcycle along with her handsome husband of 14 years, Dave.  She is a breath of fresh air and a welcome addition to our team.

Reba Lay - Tuesday, December 29, 2009
