Bonnie Roberts, Home Helpers & Direct Link, New Hampshire In the past year since I became a Home Helpers/Direct Link franchisee, I have been treated only with friendship, courtesy and respect. I wanted to start a business, but I also wanted a dedicated corporate team behind me to support me, especially given the challenge of starting a business in a difficult economy. I could have chosen no wiser. The initial training from the Home Helpers corporate team was top-notch, and the weekly training webinars cover a wide range of topics that are immediately applicable to daily business. If I have a specific issue, all I have to do is call and help is there. Add to that the camaraderie and support from other franchise owners through the Intranet discussion boards, at Regional Meetings and the National Conference and you realize the value of being part of a team as opposed to going it alone. I chose the home care industry because I wanted the opportunity to serve others and to make a difference in people’s lives; I chose Home Helpers because they share my ethical standards and vision of service.
